Cham literally means “mix” . A mix of fragrant tea with Hailam Coffee.

Barley Water

Home brewed drink believed to create a natural balance in the body.

1/2 or 3/4 Boiled Eggs

Fresh eggs, rich in protein and nutrients served traditionally with soya sauce and a dash of pepper.

Steamed / Toasted Bread
with Kaya & Marjerin

Soft homemade bread, steamed warm or charcoal toasted with traditional homemade kaya
(coconut and egg jam).

Chee Cheong Fun

A steamed rice roll cut into flat noodles and served with bean sauce, sesame seeds and a dash of fried shallot oil.

Mee Rojak

A distinctly Malaysian dish of yellow noodles and a mix of vegetables with a liberal serving of thick spicy peanut sauce.

Mee Rebus

The traditional Malay dish of yellow egg noodles in a thick spicy gravy enhanced with a secret recipe of herbs and spices.

Mee Hailam

Traditional Hainanese braised egg noodles prepared painstakingly accordingly to the old method.

Yong Tau Foo

Deboned fish pounded and stuffed into okra, red chilli, tofu and aubergine.

Hailam Chicken Rice

Steamed or roasted chicken served with a bowl of rich chicken broth rice.

Fried Rice

An old favourite but with a little special something. Not quite the standard fried rice known the whole world round.

Hailam Chicken Chop

Breaded, boneless chicken fillet deep fried to a crispy golden brown and served with a side of vegetables.

Lamb Chop

A dish made popular during the colonial days. Full of flavour, tender and utterly mouthwatering.

Freshly Cut Fruits

An assortment of fresh local fruits-Papaya, Watermelon, Ciku, Jambu Air, Apple.
